Over the past year, we’ve worked diligently to turn a beautiful idea into reality: high-quality hiking shoes that provide the wearer with all the necessary comfort during long walks, shoes that truly make a statement. In November, the outdoor brand Bashoe will be launched, offering fashionable hiking shoes for women.

At Van den Breekel, we were incredibly excited about this idea because it aligns perfectly with our own vision. Shoes that cater to every wearer’s needs without compromising on design. With a perfect fit thanks to handcrafted shoe lasts, smooth walking dynamics, and the right traction and support due to the sneaker’s height, it’s possible to venture into nature without sacrificing comfort. The brand will be launched with one model available in three colorways.

Karin and her daughter Kelsey discovered Van den Breekel online and decided to pitch their idea to us in Moergestel, which we found quite appealing. The combination of their strong concept and our expertise has resulted in a beautiful end product—an intricately designed shoe that meets all the wearer’s desires. Starting with the launch of one model, it has the potential to expand into a broader distribution.
